The Website Health Report · €79

Everything wrong with your website, on one page.

One examination, about twenty checks, run against the site your customers see. The verdict lands by email within the hour, in plain English, with the evidence for every finding. One payment, one verdict. The report is the end of the transaction, not the start of a pitch.

01 · What gets checked

Six questions about your site, answered with evidence

The same checks run for every site, in the same order. Nothing depends on scope, which is why the price never does either.

1

Was it awake?

Whether your site was up when someone looked for you at 9pm, how quickly the server answers, and whether the old insecure address still works. A site can be down for days without the owner hearing.

2

Does the browser trust it?

The padlock in the browser: whether it shows, who issued it, and when it runs out. This is the SSL certificate. When it expires, every visitor sees a full-screen warning instead of your site.

3

How long does a phone wait?

How long a customer on a phone waits before giving up on your page, measured the way Google measures it (Core Web Vitals), plus how heavy the page is and why. It is almost always the photos.

4

Do your emails arrive?

Whether your emails actually arrive, or land in spam. We read the three records on your domain that decide it (SPF, DKIM and DMARC). Missing records are the most common fault we find, and the cheapest to fix.

5

Can people get through?

Up to fifty pages walked, looking for buttons and pages that lead nowhere, and for an enquiry form that swallows messages. A dead form looks exactly like a quiet month, which is why nobody catches it.

6

What is Google told?

What Google, and now the AI assistants, are told about your business: whether they can read the site at all, whether a leftover setting is hiding it, and whether it says who you are in the form machines read.

02 · What a finding looks like

Three findings from a real report

The site’s details are changed; nothing else is. Every finding carries the raw evidence, so you can check our working or hand it straight to a developer.

FAIL

A form hands your enquiry to the visitor and loses it

One of your forms opens the visitor’s own email program instead of sending the message. On most phones that does nothing at all. The enquiry vanishes and neither of you knows.

What to do: Replace it with a form that sends you the message directly.

1 of 2 forms submit to a mailto: address (e.g. on https://example.ie/contact/).
FAIL

Your emails are easy to mistake for spam

Your domain is missing the record that tells receiving inboxes your email is really from you. That pushes quotes and invoices toward spam folders, and lets anyone send email in your name.

What to do: Publish an SPF record listing every service that sends mail as you. Your web person can do this in under an hour.

No record beginning "v=spf1" found in the TXT records for example.ie.
CHECK

Your home page makes phones wait

Your home page downloads far more data than it needs to. On mobile data that is real waiting time, and some people give up during it. It is almost always oversized photos.

What to do: Resize and compress the largest images. The page will look exactly the same.

Total page weight 2,410 KB, as reported by PageSpeed Insights.

The report ends with a fix list ordered by what is costing you most, so there is never a question of where to start.

03 · What arrives, and when

An email within the hour

Payment starts the examination immediately. When it finishes, usually inside ten minutes, you get one email with the verdict and a private link to the full report. The link is yours to keep and to share with whoever does your web work. There is no login and no dashboard, because you do not need another one.

The report is built to be handed over. Your web person gets a list of specific changes with the evidence for each, instead of a vague brief. You get the end of the argument about whether the site is fine.

04 · The price

€79, against the €300 to €500 audit

Agencies charge €300 to €500 for a website audit, and the audit usually exists to open a conversation about follow-on work. This is the same diagnosis without the conversation. Software does the checking, the explanations were written once, in advance, by a person, and no sales time is priced in.

The risk sits with us, not you. If we cannot examine your site, the payment comes back automatically, with an email explaining why. If a finding is factually wrong, reply and a person will correct it or refund you in full. The refund policy is four paragraphs long.

05 · Order

Two fields. Then it runs.

€79
Once. The report arrives, and that is the end of it.
We check the address before taking payment, so a typo costs you nothing.

Paid by card through Stripe. If we cannot examine your site, the payment comes back automatically and an email tells you why. The refund policy is four paragraphs long.

What arrives

  • One email, within the hour.
  • A private link you can hand to your web person.
  • A fix list ordered by what is costing you most.
  • If we cannot examine the site, the €79 comes back automatically.
06 · Questions

Asked before buying

Will you try to sell me something after?

No. We do not fix websites, build them, or run marketing, so there is nothing to pitch. You get the report email and nothing follows it. Not selling the fixes is what lets the report say your site is fine when it is. And if you have a question before you buy, email hello@wellkept.ie: a person reads it, and the answer will not be a pitch.

What if you can’t scan my site?

Then you do not pay. If our checks cannot reach your site, the payment comes back automatically and an email tells you why. You do not have to ask. One thing worth knowing: a filter that blocks us is often blocking Google too.

What exactly do I get for €79?

A private web page and an email. Every check is listed with its result, what it means in plain English, the evidence behind it, and the specific change to make. It ends with a fix list ordered by what is costing you most. There is no PDF to lose and no login to remember.

Why is it €79 when agencies charge €300 to €500?

Because no person spends a day on it, and no sales time is built into the price. The checks are software, written once. The explanations were written in advance, one for every possible finding. An agency audit costs €300 to €500 because a person assembles much the same information by hand, usually to open a conversation about follow-on work.

Do I need to give you passwords or access?

No. Nothing gets installed and nothing is handed over. Every check looks at your site from outside, the way a customer or a search engine sees it.

Is a person looking at my site?

No, and that is deliberate. The numbers are measurements from your live site. The words were written in advance by a person, not generated by an AI, so the same site always gets the same report. If a finding is factually wrong, reply to the report email: a human reads that, and will correct it or refund you in full.

Can my own web person act on it?

Yes. That is who it is written for, as much as for you. Each finding names the specific change to make, with the evidence, so whoever you hand it to can start work instead of re-diagnosing. You are not tied to us in any way.

How fast does it arrive?

Within the hour, usually within ten minutes. Payment starts the examination immediately. Nobody is scheduling anything.

How often should I run one?

Sites drift. Certificates run out, forms break silently, pages get heavier, and a redesign can quietly hide the site from Google. Twice a year is sensible for a site the business depends on. After any redesign or move, it is essential.
