What an SSL check can tell you
The result checks the certificate presented by your server. It does not certify that a business is legitimate, detect malware, or establish that every resource on a page uses HTTPS. A valid certificate protects the connection; it is not a complete security audit.
If customers see a warning, note the exact domain and browser message. Your www address and your domain without www may behave differently, so check the address customers actually use.

How do I check my SSL certificate?
Enter your domain above. A certificate can look valid and still be rejected because it was set up for a different name.
What happens when the certificate runs out?
Browsers can reject an expired certificate and show a security warning. Ask whoever manages your hosting to check renewal, install the correct certificate and test the affected domain again. The expiry date is a reason to check renewal before it fails.
Whose job is it to renew this?
Your hosting provider or website administrator often manages renewal. Confirm who is responsible and whether automatic renewal is enabled. A failed renewal, incorrect domain name or incomplete certificate chain can cause different problems, so pass on the exact finding.
